About Cleaver Dog Training

Our main aim at Cleaver Dog Training is to make certain that dog ownership is an enjoyable experience. We strive to ensure that all learning is fun and rewarding, whilst at the same time achieving the best possible results.

Dogs can make a hugely beneficial contribution to your health and well-being but, we are also fully aware that it can be stressful. Our goal is to ensure that you both have the best possible life and enjoy your journey together.

We have our own dedicated training centre in Amersham, with spacious indoor training hall, as well as garden area for outdoor training with limited distractions; and a fenced training and agility paddock. Where required, training can also be carried out at other locations.

Free car parking is available at our Amersham training centre.

The Puppy Foundation Manners course enables you to get started with training your puppy straight away rather than being governed by course start dates.

Life Skills Progression Course

This is a 6 week course for older puppies and adult dogs who have already completed the Puppy Foundation Manners course or a foundation training course elsewhere.

We hold regular lead walking and recall workshops; children's' trick and agility training sessions during school holidays; specialist occasional workshops; and Heelwork to Music clinics with specialist guest instructors.

Perfect Fit harnesses (www.dog-games-shop.co.uk) are stocked at the training centre and can be fitted by authorised fitter, Vikki Cleaver at no additional charge. These superior fleece lined harnesses are available in a huge range of sizes and colours to suit all dogs and puppies.

We are passionate about ensuring that dogs are fed good quality food that is suitable for their needs and have our own range of high quality grain free kibble (samples are available on request and delivery is available across the UK)
